Guided art walking tour through the pedestrian area of the city - guided by an licensed guide and art historian, M.A. Mrs. Schneeweiss, M.A.
Tour leads through the old town of Salzburg, including architectonical interpretations of Salzburg´s highlights, its significance, by learning about symbols in art and architecture paintings, describing visions and political backgrounds of Salzburg´s extraordinary past, which had also influence on W. A. Mozart´s development.
Stroll through the "Burghers city" with its narrow medieval and charming lanes, passing elegant Cafés, the oldest pharmacy in town or see, where the Original Salzburg Mozart´s Sphere is produced - see where the markets had been in the past, walk through the daily green market, see intimate passages with its renaissance arcades, Mozart´s Birthplace and much more...
The second part of this tour focusses on Salzburg’s clerical area with its impressive churches and monasteries. Learn about symbols and hear about the hidden meaning in architecture and paintings. See the University Church, archiepiscopal residence, the Franciscan church and the outstanding Salzburg´s Cathedral surrounded by magnificent squares with fountains and archiepiscopal baroque residences.
